OroraTech Brings "Thermal First, Always First" to Red Sky Summit

Company to highlight its expanding satellite capabilities and share new developments in near real-time wildfire intelligence

DENVER, October 26th, 2026 – OroraTech USA is sponsoring and will participate in the Red Sky Summit on November 4 in San Francisco, intelligence where the company will showcase its latest developments in satellite-based wildfire under the theme "Thermal First. Always First." That theme reflects OroraTech's commitment to detecting wildfire activity as early as possible. Using thermal sensing technology in orbit, OroraTech can spot fire activity before smoke appears, delivering critical detections to responders before the first 911 call comes in.

“Earth observation is entering a defining moment. Building on an eight-year foundation in thermal intelligence, OroraTech delivers persistent, purpose-built insights into how conditions on the ground change," said Dr. Ignacio Zuleta, Chief Technology and Product Officer at OroraTech. "Thermal imaging reveals heat signatures from space, helping identify emerging threats and monitor fire activity. We turn these observations into actionable intelligence, so fire managers can make smarter decisions to protect lives, infrastructure, and the environment.”

Building on its most recent announcement to deploy up to 96 additional wildfire sensors on Eutelsat satellites, the company plans to provide the most comprehensive source of wildfire data to first responders across the planet, supporting faster wildfire detection, comprehensive management, and more informed decisions.

"Building a global satellite network takes long-term commitment, and we're committed to putting more thermal sensors into orbit," said Thomas Grübler, co-founder and CEO of OroraTech USA. "Our agreement with Eutelsat is an important step toward making satellite wildfire detection more accessible and dependable for fire agencies around the world.”

Grübler and Dr. Zuleta will attend Red Sky Summit alongside OroraTech's commercial and product teams. Attendees are invited to visit the company's booth at the FireTech Showcase to see a demo live stream of thermal hotspot data from space and meet with the team to discuss the future of satellite-based wildfire detection and monitoring.
