NBC News covers OroraTech's role in the new fire tech landscape

With the start of the 2026 "fire season" – more and more often recognized as a fire year – NBC News explored the new technology helping wildland firefighters fight safer, faster, and with better information.

OroraTech is the first on the list, as a vital tool for early detection, initial response, and observation after resources are deployed.

Our own Ignacio Zuleta, Chief Technology & Product Officer, sat for an interview to explain the strong benefits of thermal intelligence.

While national coverage like this is a milestone recognition in OroraTech's efforts to serve US wildland firefighters, there is much more to do. More satellite overpasses, higher accuracy, and easier ways to use the data will all help grow our position as a trusted partner in the structure of fire incident response.
